Residence Application Process

Are you planning to live in residence for the 2025-2026 academic year? Applications open February 3, 2025!

Before applying to the residence, please ensure you have reviewed all information for the Application Process below, as well as rates and Payments, Room Rates.   Rates and Payments,  Rooms, and  Meal Options

We encourage you to start your housing search right away, so you can secure the best accommodations for your needs.
 

International Students
International Students are not required to submit a $50 application fee when they apply. If you are offered a room, $50 will be added to your Residence Fees.

Fall 2025-26 Application Process

How to Apply

Applications are accepted online only. Use the link below to get started. If you encounter any issues, email us at housing@saultcollege.ca for assistance. Please note the application fee is $50

Important Dates and Deadlines

February 3, 2025: Early Bird Applications Open

March 17, 2025: Early Bird Deadline

  •  Accept your program admission through the OCAS website to qualify.
  • Submit your application and $50 fee (non-refundable).
  •  Early Bird applicants are entered into a lottery system but are not guaranteed a room offer.
  • Room offers are sent 1-2 weeks after the deadline.
  • To accept your Early Bird room offer, please email   housing@saultcollege.ca by May 2, 2025, to confirm your acceptance.
  • If you do not receive a room    offer you will be placed on a wait list.

May 2, 2025: General Application Deadline

  • Accept your program admission through the OCAS website to qualify.
  •  Submit your application and $50 fee by this date.  All applications received by this date will be entered into the Residence lottery.
  • Room offers are sent 1 to 2 weeks after the deadline.
  • To accept your  room offer, please email   housing@saultcollege.ca  by June 6, 2025, to confirm your acceptance.
  •  Applications received after May 2, 2025  will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  •  Students who do not receive offers will be placed on a waitlist. Openings may become available throughout the summer, and you will be contacted if eligible.

July 18, 2025: Full Residence Fees Due

  • If using OSAP or other assistance, complete the $60 Payment Extension Form to defer fees. Email housing@saultcollege.ca for a copy of this document.

Application Processing Delays

  • Applications submitted past either deadline will not be processed until after those that met the deadline.
  • Applications submitted without the $50 application fee will not be processed until payment is received.
