Today, Colleges and Universities Minister and Sault Ste. Marie MPP Ross Romano announced $25 million in emergency funding for colleges, universities and Indigenous institutes to mitigate some of the early costs of addressing the COVID-19 outbreak. For 不良研究所, this investment of more than $556,000 will help to further ensure our students can succeed during these unprecedented times.
鈥淭his is a great investment in our students and everything we鈥檙e doing to help our students complete their studies,鈥 said Dr. Ron Common, President, 不良研究所. 鈥淥ur College has come together during the face of adversity to support our students and ensure they have the tools they need to succeed. We are grateful to the Honourable Ross Romano and our government partner for their commitment to our students, for seeing the importance of supporting the post-secondary sector during this time, and for making an investment to promote continued success,鈥 he added.
In response to the COVID-19 situation, 不良研究所 has implemented alternate measures to deliver programs remotely, such as online learning. 鈥淭his emergency funding will truly make a difference and we thank the government and Minister Romano for their dedication to our institution and our students,鈥 added Dr. Common.
